Helping Services for Youth & Families has announced the 15th annual Holiday Lights event at Pulpit Rock Campground in Decorah will be ready for public viewing Wednesday, Nov. 27, for the walk-through night.

5 to 7:30 p. m. Shuttle buses will transport visitors from the nearby city soccer field parking lot to the Holiday Lights entrance. Visitors are invited to stroll through the light displays with friends, family and neighbors.
Donated soups, cookies, hot chocolate and coffee will be available while supplies last. Visitors can enjoy the live nativity hosted by St. Ben’s, holiday carols performed by local music groups, and a special performance by the Decorah High School Marching Band. Children can visit Santa throughout the night and ride “Pokey Pete,” weather pending.
Holiday Lights is open nightly from 5 to 9 pm for drive-through visitors starting Thanksgiving night, and continuing through Christmas night. Santa will be at Holiday Lights every Thursday through Sunday from 5:30 to 8 p. m. Returning this year is a live fireworks display Saturday, Nov. 30, starting at 6:30 p. m. at the Pulpit Rock, courtesy of Mick Layden and Flashing Thunder Fireworks.

Holiday Lights, produced by the work of dozens of volunteers, is an annual fundraiser for Helping Services for Youth & Families, a nonprofit organization with programs that promote healthier and safer families and youth residing throughout eight counties in Northeast Iowa.
