Lynch Family Companies of Waucoma hosted their annual Veterans Day meal and meat package event Thursday, Nov. 11 at the Waucoma Events Center. This was the fifth time this event has been held.

Business owner and Vietnam Veteran Gary Lynch said the event was created because he felt it was important for Veterans to gather and have a sense of community. Additionally, the event stays in the theme of the giving season as each year the company donates to military-based nonprofit organizations.

In past years, the company has given away $20,000 via 20 different
